Easy Homemade Caramel Apples | 簡単!手作りキャラメルアップル

These are so fantastically easy to make! Even I was surprised how quickly these were made, and they act as the perfect base for any additional toppings like chocolate chips, marshmallows, nuts or even candies! Just make sure that you add these toppings while the caramel is still warm and hasn’t set yet. It sets relatively quickly, but still has this amazing gooey texture and sweetness that pairs PERFECTLY with the apple. I never even liked caramel apples before this, but when I was taking the “bite” photo, I was so pleasantly surprised! Now the last thing to discover is an attractive way to eat them! haha In my next recipe I’ll show how to turn these delicious desserts into adorable Rilakkuma caramel apples, who is a very popular bear character in Japan!

Ingredients (makes 6 apples)
❤ 6 granny smith apples
❤ 400g soft caramel candies
❤ 2 tbsp milk
❤ long lollipop sticks

1. Stick the lollipop sticks into the top of the apples. And place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
2. Place the caramels and milk into a pot and set to medium heat. Keep stirring until the candies have fully melted.
3. Dip each apple into the caramel sauce, and fully coat it. Then place them on the baking sheet to set.
4. If any bubbles appear on the caramel, simply poke them with a sharp knife and deflate them.
