Chocolate-Dipped “Carrot” Strawberries

Say hello to Easter and spring with these adorable little “carrots”! These are easy to make, and will put a smile on anybody’s face, especially if you tuck them into lunch boxes or give them as a gift. The glitter gives them an even brighter colour, and make sure to cover up all of the fruit with chocolate to make them look extra carrot-y.

Ingredients (makes 8 “carrots”)
❤8 round, fat strawberries
❤100g bar of white chocolate
❤ orange oil-based food colouring
❤ orange edible glitter

Directions
1. Wash the strawberries and dry well.
2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave in a wide bowl.
3. Add enough food colouring to turn the chocolate a “carrot” orange.
4. Dip the strawberries into the chocolate, and cover the entire surface of the strawberries, up to the stem. Then sprinkle glitter over the entire surface of the strawberries.
5. Place the strawberries on a tray lined with parchment paper, and set in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.

にんじんの形のいちごチョコ

材料(8個分)
❤丸くて、太いイチゴ 8個
❤板ホワイトチョコ                100g
❤オレンジ色の油性食用色素
❤オレンジ色の食用グリッター

作り方
①イチゴを洗って、水気をよく切る。
②チョコレートを広いボウルに入れ、電子レンジで溶かす。
③食用色素を少々加え、にんじんっぽいの色に染める。
④イチゴをヘタまで表面の全体にチョコレートをつける。グリッターも全体にまぶす。
⑤クックングシートを引いたトレーに置き、冷蔵庫で15~20分固める。
